One of my favorites is Fiesta Bowl ($12) which sees jackfruit carnitas, chipotle black beans, pico de gallo, guacamole, crispy pumpkin seeds, and cashew-lime crema, coming together to create piquantly satisfying bites. You get a choice of rice, quinoa or greens to line the bottom of the bowl with. The Mediterranean Bowl ($12) is delightful with house-made hummus, cucumber, tomato, quinoa tabbouleh, chickpeas, olives, and garlic tahini. Wanting a little nibble? Almond Butter & Raspberry Jam Toast ($5) is a nice slightly sweet option with gooey almond butter and a fragrant raspberry jam on gluten-free bread.Īlternatively, if you’re looking for something savory, Hummus Toast ($5) with house-made hummus topped with pico de gallo will definitely satiate.įor more substantial options, there are several “Bowls” to choose from. A friend even mentioned it would be lovely as a burrito – which they do offer, but not currently due to the shortage of viable collard green leaves. We enjoyed the texture and flavor profile of this. A combination of cauliflower scramble, black beans, hash browns, avocado, pico de gallo, and cashew-lime crema, is served with a side of gluten-free toast. If you’re looking for another breakfast item, Sunrise Scramble ($10.50) is filling and tasty. I love this because it isn’t too sweet on the palate. Nutella Waffle ($10) four half pieces of protein-packed fluffy waffle with house-made nutella, strawberries, banana, cashew cream, blueberries, almonds and shredded coconut. From the Brekky section of the menu, there is: They make everything fresh when you order, so it may take a little time for items to be ready. The regular menu is available all day, as soon as they open at 7am (open at 8am on Sundays) and there is a grab and go case too if you’re in a hurry. There is a small breakfast menu which is available until 11am. This is also the reason why I have not been able to try the Green Wraps because they’ve not been able to procure the right collard greens for this item. The menu is completely gluten free, soy free AND dairy free, and owner Josh has taken the liberty to making sure that everything is fresh and tasty. I’ve returned again to try more things and find myself increasingly enamored by this eatery. About a month ago, my friend introduced me to Vibe Organic Kitchen + Juice, a fun, energetic spot tucked away in the same plaza as Moulin Bistro in Newport Beach. However, I’m becoming more and more open to eating plant-based meals these days, simply because there are so many great options out there. I’m an omnivore, there is no denying that.
